I think I wrote you a long report Katie, about the poor signs out on Klondike last year.
I had my own breakdown while out there........
.....and was lead way off track into "nowhere". Had to back track my way to the main trail,
and got out just at dark. Glad I know the area somewhat!
Also glad I had a patrol tool kit.....I needed the vise grips to get the seat tube out of the frame.
I was able to put what was left of my broken tube, back in the frame.....but it was way short
for sitting and pedaling. I estimate with the "getting lost and finding my way back out"....I
had to ride the bike in this condition for 8-10 miles. The first aid kit was handy too! That jagged
tube end got me when it broke off. Luckily fairly minor.
